COLLABORATIVE DIVORCE TEAM MEMBER

Who: Collaborative Divorce is ideal for couples who want and are able to uncouple together. This model allows you both to have a divorce team that includes attorneys, financial advisors, a counselor, and often, a divorce coach to complete your divorce peacefully and productively….and keep you out of court.

What: Collaborative divorce is a legal process where both spouses agree to work together to resolve divorce-related issues without going to court. Each spouse retains an attorney and may bring in other experts to help with financial, parenting, and other matters.

Why: Collaborative divorce is a more cost-effective and efficient process than a traditional divorce, as it avoids costly litigation and fosters cooperation and respect.

How: Ask your attorney if they offer the Collaborative Divorce model and then build your team. Contact me for a Q & A or consultation about the process.

Jenny is a member of Collaborative Divorce Illinois and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
